As you can tell from my earlier post on the Olympics, I'm a fan. No Ben, I didn't really provide any information to you, but by posting the questions that I did, I was hoping to generate some interest and have you all research to find out the answers. Needless to say, aside from Allie, no one really rose to the challenge. : ( And aside from Mr. Hastings kindly sharing the events of his snow day, I have no idea how you all spent yours. HINT: Read the blog and respond to it!!!!
The Olympics were GREAT! Team USA set a record for most medals won in an Olympics. Even if you're not a sports fan, how can you not be inspired and motivated by the dedication and perseverance of the athletes? So many stories and only two weeks to tell all of them. It's not too late to look up the answers to the questions I posted.
With that being said, I'm SO happy "The Biggest Loser" is back! Tonight's episode was classic B.L. drama, not to mention a great way to study THEME! So many of you write to me in your response journals about universal themes, like "Don't give up on your dreams," and "Push yourself," or "The underdog is a good bet." Well, you'll find all of that in this show. Just to get you caught up, a little game playing went on tonight and teams were chosen. One team was clearly the "favorite." Naturally, even though they worked hard, they assumed they would win the "weigh in." I'm sure you can predict that didn't happen; the underdog's came from behind to win the weigh in, sending one of their opponents home. Now I'm not saying that this always happens. But when it does, and it DOES happen, take a lesson. ATTITUDE and HEART is half the battle. If you think you're beaten you are, so somehow, be POSITIVE! Stay focused and have goals. Hard work does pay off. You may not always "win" or come in "first" in the game or contest, but enjoy the ride and focus on the experience. Okay....it's a little late, but please think about it......make me happy - comment away!

Hey!When I was watching the Biggest Loser I was wondering what happens when the camera isn't rolling and how much of a impact being on the show took on their lives. well that it for me tonight time to watch American Idol.

Thanks for the comments, Ladies! I think the show has a big impact on the people that experience it as well as for those of us that watch. How were the nuggets, Feranmi? I'm hungry, too - just got home from the gym. And you know what I always want to do once I get home from working out????? You guessed it - EAT!!!!!
I [sadly] don't follow biggest loser but I once saw it at my friends house. Boy! This one guy lost 12 pounds in a week!!! I should start watching! I did mention it to my parents but they said it was "medodramatic" Well its time for me to try to convince my parents [again] to watch biggest loser! Bye!
It is a bit dramatic, but that's part of its charm. I watch for the workouts and to compare what they do to what I do (or try to do.) The show really keeps me motivated. I also like when they have guest chefs on cooking. I can't tell yet who's going to win....It's still anybody's game! Thanks for commenting!
