Thank you, Parents, for making conferences very successful. Because of all the great conversations, the time truly flew. I've added some links to the reading section. Several parents requested some suggestions for books - the sites I posted are GREAT and are very informative. I noticed that several of the books we read or will read are on the lists.
Check out my homeroom's persuasive papers which are displayed in the hallway outside of our room. Does the idea of not eating turkey on Thanksgiving enrage you? Or, has someone convinced you to make the switch to pork? The students did a very good job, made thought provoking arguments, and showed much creativity. Three cheers for them!

The biom project in science has been very intersting. I have learned a lot about my byome that i studied. But,I would enjoy it if we could choose our own partners and if Miss.D'Amore does not agree the she will change them. I also think that the partneers should be girl with girl and boy with boy.thank you for your notice.

I think you should post a daily challenge for people to figure out. You could do a word scramble or a random fact that has to be answered. You could also do a math problem, but that is more of a Mr. Kenney idea.

Hey Miss D'Amore as many others have said to i loved the boimes project! It was very fun and interesting! I learned a lot about the Coral Reef! I can't wait to present to the class and learn about alot more biomes!!
